Why do we have to use in passive voice form ?

Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known, however, who or what is performing the action.
i.g
P: Bali is known for its amazing beach
A: [Many people] know Bali for its amazing beach
My laptop was stolen
Could we change all the active form into passive form ?
No, We could not
Leonaro Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa.
The Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci.
They laughed at her jokes
her jokes were laughed by Them X
What are intransitive verbs?
Intransitive verbs are action verbs but unlike transitive verbs, they do not have an object receiving the action. Notice there are no words after the verb sang.
Examples of intransitive verbs:
I laughed.
I cried.
The book fall.
The sun set.
In all of the above cases the subject is performing the action of the verb and nothing is receiving the action.
What are transitive verbs?
Transitive verbs are action verbs that have an object to receive that action. In the first sentence above, the direct object ball received the action of the verb hit.
examples of transitive verb words:
I baked some cookies.
I rode the bicycle.
I moved the chair.
All of the verbs in the above sentences are transitive because an object is receiving the action of the verb.

Once Birmingham and Sheffield, two of the largest towns in England, began to quarrel. The quarrel started as each of them claimed to be able to produce the most skillful piece of work.
A special jury was chosen to decide which city would show the greatest skill. The day arrived. A steel spider with long thin legs was produced by representatives of Sheffield. The spider was made by the best workers. It was as small as a pea. It ran about on the table as if it were alive. A wonderful mechanism had been put in that little body. Everybody was sure that the first place would be given to Sheffield.
Then a sewing needle was laid on the table by representatives of Birmingham. A smile appeared on the lips of the jury when the needle was noticed. Then the top of the needle was screwed off and 4 needles were drawn out, one from another.
